Guide to Getting the Perfect Nose

If you want to get the perfect shape for your nose that would be complimentary for your face, then you can always look at getting rhinoplasty. When you are talking about rhinoplasty, then you can undergo a procedure that is going to resize and reshape your nose so that it can perfectly fit and blend well with other features of your face such as your eyes, cheeks and even your mouth. Such a procedure could entail re alignment of your nasal bridge when you have a crooked nose, or that certain visible bump can actually be removed to give your nose that smooth finish.

You must be wise in choosing a skillful surgeon that could perform the procedure for you so that you can be happy with the result. You need to ensure that you get the right kind of nose job so that it is certainly going to boost your confidence.

Is There A Perfect Nose?

Rhinoplasty (more commonly referred to as a ‘nose job’) is a surgical procedure that reshapes or resizes the nose. It’s performed for a variety of reasons, which might include removing a visible bump on the nasal bridge, reshaping a nasal tip that’s droopy or enlarged, or re-aligning a nose that is off-centre or crooked through genetics or an injury. It might also be necessary to correct breathing issues.

Dr George Marcells, a highly respected and talented Facial Plastic Surgeon based in Bondi Junction in NSW, recently convened the AAFPS Rhinoplasty Symposium in Sydney and is well known for his excellence in facial plastic surgery. We asked Dr Marcells to give us some insight into what can be achieved by having a quality Rhinoplasty procedure done by a qualified and suitably experience Australian practitioner. “Rhinoplasty is a complex surgery that combines both art and science, making it one of the most difficult surgeries to master. Even the slightest change in shape or structure can cause breathing problems and other functional issues. This is why rhinoplasty has a very high revision rates compared to other types of cosmetic surgeries.”

Getting a nose reshaped is one of the most common cosmetic surgery procedures. It is performed under general anaesthesia and as Dr Marcells mentions above; can often be a very complex procedure. This link has more info on rhinoplasty.

There are a lot of wonderful stories about rhinoplasty, and that a lot of people are so happy with the new found feature that they have. There are a lot of women and men alike that are seemingly enjoying the newness of their nose. Thus, it is important that you will never be afraid of undertaking such a procedure, as the risk of it is so nil.

Rhinoplasty – My Personal Story of Plastic Surgery

When I started this blog, back in June 2008, I had only imagined it would be seen by a few close friends and family, if that. Like most bloggers, I started the blog for myself. I wanted to record a journey and have it on file so I could look back at it in the future. Unfortunately, my “blogging” skills back then weren’t very good so I don’t think I did a good job at explaining the back story. Hopefully I can do that better for you today.

I had always been a self-conscious child. I was chubby, I was short, I hated sport, I had big eyes and big cheeks. I was very dark skinned (yay, 1 win!) but I was NOT the cutest kid in my opinion. I grew to be a chubby pre-teen and then an even chubbier teenager. My body was definitely something that annoyed me but it was not my biggest concern. In my eyes, my nose was target number one. It was hideous. I hated it. When I looked in a mirror or any glass with a strong enough reflection, I would just stare at my nose. I would spend hours staring in the mirror trying to work out how I could position my face in photos so that my nose didn’t look so ugly. I never quite worked it out so whenever I look back at photos from before my rhinoplasty I just notice that wonky thing in the middle of my face.

I have always believed that if you don’t like something, change it, and it was time to apply that theory to my nose. Added rhinoplasty stories here: http://www.theplasticdiaries.com/popular/rhinoplasty-my-personal-story-of-plastic-surgery.

Rhinoplasty is something that you must never hesitate on getting. If you want to see to it that you get an improvement in the way your nose looks, then rhinoplasty is the solution you must try. There are a lot of issues that you will have to face, but definitely everything will all be worth it in the end. You can be assured of being confident in your own skin.
